I arrived at 8:00 at Carl Ackerman’s Nut House to photograph backyard birds. It snowed the night before and it promised to be a great day, and it was. We traveled to Creedmoor NC to Cedar Creek Gallery, which hosted the National Teapot Show XI. Featuring over 200 teapots by more than 150 of the most accomplished North American artisans. The range is vast including traditional, contemporary, functional, conceptual, and whimsical teapots of pottery wood, glass, metal, fiber and mixed media.
Not all our trips are about photography. Sometimes is just about getting together and having fun. On June 2, 2020 we got ready to paddle Long Cane Creek at Savanna Lakes. The lake was calm and the sky clear. We paddled for about 2 hours.
