I left the house at 7:30am heading to Jones Cap State park where I reserved campsite #12. At the park I parked my vehicle at the camper parking area and checked in at the park office. Once all the formalities were taken care off, I started my hike to the trail campsite I had reserved.
After a 2 hour hike I arrived at my campsite. I setup camp right away and gathered fire wood.
I decided to walk a short distance to Jones Gap waterfall since it was still early in the day.
At Jones Gap waterfall I shoot some long exposure photographs of the waterfall. I think the photograph on the left turned out quite nicely. What do you think?
There was still daylight after a delightful dinner, so I decided to walk down to the Middle Saluda river.
I was not ready to call it a night and slip into my sleeping bag.
The Middle Saluda river is not far from this campsite. I thought I shoot photographs at dusk with very little light. It is wooded here after all. This is what came out of it.
After a restful night it got up early and cooked breakfast.
Than a walked back to the Middle Saluda river. This time a bid further down river to shoot more long exposure photographs.
The result you can see on the right.
Back at the camp, I packed up and started my hike back to the parking lot.
At the car, I took more photographs of the Saluda river before heading back home.
Another fun trip came to an end.
